But here’s what he was responding to:
On July 26, 2026, a man drove a van into a crowd at Berlin Pride before attacking bystanders with a machete. One woman was killed and more than 29 people were injured.
German authorities classified the attack as Islamist terrorism. The suspect was already known to police over alleged Islamist ties.
Yet the headlines softened the story into a vehicle that simply “plowed” into a crowd.
Paris. Nice. Brussels. Manchester. Barcelona. Orlando. San Bernardino. New Orleans.
There is an important distinction between Islam, a global faith, and Islamism, a political ideology. But refusing to discuss Islamist terrorism does not protect anyone.
And calling everyone who notices the pattern a racist is not an argument.
